On June 14th, we will be holding a strike authorization vote. Come down to the union hall between 5am and 7pm.

Important information about strike authorization:
- This is a secret ballot election, just as our normal union elections. Meaning that no one will know how you voted.
- A strike authorization is a routine tactic that unions have used for decades. It allows your negotiation committee to have the leverage they need when getting our raises, retirement, etc.
- There will be at least two more votes that take place before a strike is called. A contract offered by the company must be rejected by the membership by a vote, and then the membership will perform a final strike vote at that point. This vote now is simply to show the company how ready we are.
